Attorney Josh Weinshank Named Union Savings Bank Corporator

Union Savings BankAttorney Josh Weinshank, Resident Partner in Cramer & Anderson’s Ridgefield office and the Fairfield County Trust and Estate Planning and Administration Group Leader, was recently named a Union Savings Bank corporator.

Union Savings Bank President and CEO Cynthia C. Merkle has described the bank’s corporators as ambassadors and community exemplars who “provide us with the feedback from the community we need to ensure we are continuously going above and beyond customer expectations.” Corporators also vote on bank resolutions which help decide the bank’s corporate direction.

“I’m honored to join the other outstanding corporators from the western Connecticut communities served by Union Savings Bank,” Attorney Weinshank said. “It’s gratifying to be able to play a role in guiding a local community bank known for providing excellent service for customers and communities, which aligns with the philosophy of Cramer & Anderson. Coincidentally, the bank was established in 1866 around the same time our law firm was established.”

Headquartered in Danbury, Union Savings Bank is a $2.7 billion mutual bank serving individuals, businesses, nonprofit organizations, and government entities by providing banking, mortgage, investment, and trust and insurance products throughout western Connecticut. The bank has 25 offices, including branches in all six towns where Cramer & Anderson has offices—Danbury, Kent, Litchfield, Washington, New Milford and Ridgefield.
