Cramer & Anderson Senior Partner Josh Weinshank and Amy Feder, an RVNAhealth Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Geriatric Care Manager, are presenting a free seminar on Nov. 6 that will cover legal and financial planning for long-term care needs.

Topics to be covered include legal considerations, financial plannin, and accessing community resources.
Attorney Weinshank, the Resident Partner in Cramer & Anderson’s Ridgefield office, is a member of the RVNAhealth Development Committee, and a former member of the Finance Committee.
He focuses his practice in the areas of Trust and Estate Planning, Asset Protection, Trust and Probate administration, and Elder Law, and is the leader of the firm’s Fairfield County Trust and Estate Planning and Administration Group.
Attorney Weinshank advises clients on optimal ways to preserve and create intergenerational wealth and considers entire portfolios as he addresses clients’ goals and their tax and personal concerns, while implementing strategies to reduce estate and gift taxes and addressing income tax concerns through the management of capital gains and appreciation of assets.
He also focuses on asset protection and Title XIX (Medicaid) planning, advising clients about preserving assets while qualifying for government assistance programs.
An active member of the community, Attorney Weinshank is a member of the Danbury and New Milford Hospitals Board of Directors.
In addition to his board membership, he also serves as Chair of the Legacy Society for Danbury and New Milford Hospitals, which recognizes donors who include the hospitals in their estate planning.
Attorney Weinshank is also a corporator for Union Savings Bank, serves on the Board of Directors of Meals on Wheels of Ridgefield, is a Director of the Kermit & Patricia Adler Foundation Inc, Chair of the Stevek Foundation, and Director of the Dee Williams Freestyle Fund Inc.
Attorney Weinshank lives in Ridgefield with his wife, Steffani, and their two daughters, where he also has served on the Board of the Ridgefield Playhouse, as well as its Finance Committee.
Among his honors and awards, in 2022 Attorney Weinshank was named a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation (ABF), whose membership is limited to one percent of the lawyers admitted to practice in the U.S. and its territories, as well as a limited number of lawyers in international jurisdictions.
He won a Distinguished Leaders award from the Connecticut Law Tribune (CLT) in 2022, following his 2017 New Leaders in the Law award from the CLT. Attorney Weinshank also won a prestigious 40 Under 40 award from the Fairfield County Business Journal in May 2019, and was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in both 2018 and 2019.
