Cramer & Anderson attorneys and staff once again teamed up to support local students and families, raising $450 for the 35th annual United Way Greater New Milford Back-to-School campaign.
Continuing a tradition that began in 2002, the firm used this year’s donations to purchase gift cards to Kohl’s and Amazon, ensuring area children receive the essential clothes, shoes, and school supplies needed for a successful start to the academic year.
“Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we’re proud to help students get what they need to step into the classroom with confidence,” said Jeremy Ruman, legal assistant to Partner Art Weinshank, who coordinates the firm’s annual fundraising effort. “It’s always a privilege to support United Way’s work and make a direct, positive impact for local families.”
Katy Francis, the Southern Litchfield County Community Impact Coordinator for United Way of Coastal and Western Connecticut, expressed her gratitude for the firm’s sustained community involvement in a post on Facebook.
“A big thank you to Jeremy Ruman and the Cramer & Anderson staff for their generous donations to the United Way Greater New Milford 35th annual Back-to-School campaign,” she wrote. “Their support will help ease stress on struggling families and boost student confidence. A win-win!”
United Way highlights that a $50 donation can completely fill a student’s backpack with essential supplies.
