“The event will feature a farm to table dinner, craft beer, exciting auction items, and music by the Endee Brothers,” says the ticket page on the RVNA website. “Each year, this event raises funds that are critical to RVNA’s ability to care for uninsured and underinsured patients, offer community programs on everything from caregiver support to managing chronic disease, and provide help to the homebound. Please help us in our goal of raising $180,000. Your contribution will allow us to sustain our vital work in the community.”
Cramer & Anderson Attorney Joshua Weinshank, the Trust and Estate Partner who opened the newest Cramer & Anderson office in Ridgefield last fall, supports RVNA in part by serving on the organization’s Finance Committee.
Theresa Santoro, RVNA’s CEO and President, has called Attorney Weinshank’s contribution “a really important commitment,” explaining that the Finance Committee monitors the agency’s operational and endowment financial performance, and develops and evaluates performance metrics and financial forecasts, as well as overseeing the 403b retirement plan and the agency’s 501c3 status.
“Cramer & Anderson is proud to support the vital work of RVNA, and I’m personally gratified to be able to lend a hand to this tremendous resource for not only Ridgefield but the entire region,” said Attorney Weinshank, a Ridgefield resident.
The firm was also a Silver Sponsor of the 2018 RVNA Health & Wellness Fair this past April.
The RVNA (Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association) is a private, nonprofit organization founded in 1914 with a mission of providing exceptional home and community health care services, including nursing services, physical therapy, and disease management, as well as non-medical home care support. Its staff of nearly 300 provides those services in an expansive coverage area, encompassing 28 towns and extending south to Weston and Westport, north to New Milford and northeast to Southbury and Woodbury.
In addition to his role with RVNA, Attorney Weinshank’s community service includes being a member of the Board of The Ridgefield Playhouse and serving on the Associate Board of the Danbury Hospital & New Milford Hospital Foundation.
Attorney Weinshank, named a 2017 New Leader in the Law in the Connecticut Law Tribune, advises clients on ways to effectively and efficiently preserve and create intergenerational wealth by addressing their tax and personal concerns.
