Most Connecticut towns and cities dress up for the holidays with festive lights and other seasonal flourishes, but few are as charming as New Milford. The expansive town green, historic buildings and hometown shops combine to create a magical atmosphere in the town center.
It’s a fun evening when the more than 300 expected guests will stroll along the charming streets, visit participating shops and enjoy select wines and beers, along with “nibbling on delicious delights” and taking advantage of special holiday shopping discounts. Tickets are $25 each and available online.
Cramer & Anderson, whose flagship office is located in New Milford, is a Sip & Stroll Partner—and not simply because the event strengthens the town’s sense of community and supports the VNA, a vital nonprofit organization.
“Children express grief differently from adults,” the VNA says on its website, explaining that Camp Jonathan offers “a unique one-week experiential summer day camp for children and teens ages 6 through 18 who have experienced the death of a loved one.”
If anyone needs an incentive to attend the Sip & Stroll beyond the food, wine, good cheer and shopping discounts, the VNA sums it up like this: “Together we can make a difference in the life of a Camp Jonathan child.”
“Our community partnerships are key to our success. We are grateful for supporters, like Cramer & Anderson, who believe in our mission,” said Andrea S. Wilson, Executive Director of New Milford VNA & Hospice.
The nonprofit health care agency is dedicated to providing quality home care, hospice and public health services to residents of Greater New Milford, the VNA’s website explains.
It serves the communities of Danbury, Bethlehem, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Kent, Litchfield, Morris, New Fairfield, New Milford, Roxbury, Sherman, Southbury, Warren, Washington, and Woodbury.
Cramer & Anderson has five offices in northwestern Connecticut and offers a full range of sophisticated legal services, close to home. To learn more about the firm, see the website at crameranderson.com or call the New Milford office at (860) 355-2631.
