Cramer & Anderson Supports Prime Time House’s Holiday Shop

Prime Time houseCramer & Anderson’s Litchfield office has donated $500 to Prime Time House of Torrington as a “Candle Sponsor” of the seasonal PRIME FINDS Home for the Holidays shop that raises funds for its mental health services.

With a mission of empowering individuals struggling with the effects of mental illness to lead productive, independent, and fulfilling lives, Prime Time House offers guidance and support for employment, education, housing, friendship and community, and transportation. It serves more than 300 adults from Litchfield County.

Each year since 2015, as part of its fundraising efforts, Prime Time House has operated a volunteer-staffed holiday shop in a different location where the space is donated. All proceeds benefit the mental health programs at Prime Time House.

Lourdes of Litchfield will host the shop this year in its Pilgrim Hall, located off Route 118 (East Street). Lourdes features a replica of the Grotto Lourdes in France, built in the late1950s with local fieldstone in a natural rock ledge by two Montfort Brothers.

“We are grateful for the generosity of Father Don LaSalle and the opportunity to partner with this well-known community destination for our upcoming pop-up store,” Prime Time House Executive Director Christina Emery said in a newsletter. “The location offers a blank canvas, allowing the full creative genius of our pop-up committee to create a warm and inviting shopping experience for our supporters.”

The PRIME FINDS Home for the Holidays shop is known for offering high quality used furniture, home décor, and holiday goods, sold at great prices. Featured items include linens, fashion accessories, jewelry, kitchenware, holiday décor, and collectible books. All of the items are donated.

This shop opens Nov. 19 this year and continues through Christmas Eve. Watch the shop’s Facebook page for announcements and hours.

Torrington Savings Bank is the “Presenting Sponsor” of this year’s PRIME FINDS Home for the Holidays.

The bank is a founding sponsor of another initiative Cramer & Anderson’s Litchfield office recently participated in, Stock the Shelves, a food drive for food banks and community soup kitchens in the region.

Other founding sponsors of Stock the Shelves are the Northwest Connecticut Community FoundationConquest, the Elevator Service Company Inc., and Barron Financial Group LLP.
