Reader’s Choice Awards Nominations for Cramer & Anderson

Cramer & Anderson is honored to be nominated for Best Law Firm in the Republican American newspaper’s annual Reader’s Choice Awards.

Partner Neal D. White, Jr. is nominated once again for Best Estate Planning Lawyer, the award he won last year, as well as for Best Lawyer.

Partner Chris Sochacki is nominated again for Best Personal Injury Lawyer, the award he won last year. 

The newspaper’s 2018 Reader’s Choice Awards were announced in a special section inserted into the Aug. 30 edition of the newspaper.

In addition to Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Administration, Attorney White’s practice focuses on Elder LawResidential & Commercial Real EstateBusiness Law and Tax Law. He is based in the firm’s Litchfield office.

Estate Planning focuses on issues of taxation, preservation of assets and asset management. Attorney White helps clients navigate estate planning laws to plan for the future based on their individual needs and goals. The process includes identifying when trusts are necessary, and what type of trust is appropriate, as well as managing trusts.

Attorney Neal White

In drafting estate planning documents, Attorney White considers options that will best protect clients’ assets in light of Medicaid rules and state and Federal statutes. He has long experience in drafting wills, living wills, durable Power of Attorney documents, and health care directives.

Attorney White also handles residential and commercial real estate transactions and, as the lead partner for business and corporate law in the Litchfield office, he assists business owners with the formation of limited liability companies, and corporations & partnerships. He also counsels businesses of all sizes on transactions, employee and personnel issues, mergers and acquisitions, and issues of governance and operation. His clients also include not nonprofit organizations.

A lifelong resident of Litchfield County, he grew up in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 1989.


Attorney Chris Sochacki

Attorney Sochacki’s civil litigation practice focuses on helping people who have been wronged or injured, including personal injury, product liability, construction defects and medical malpractice, professional malpractice, workers’ compensation claims, and more.

With a foundation of 17 years practicing as an insurance defense litigator, Attorney Sochacki has extensive experience with personal injury cases, as well as experience in fire and explosion litigation, and emergency management and emergency response consultation and litigation.

Being named Best Personal Injury Lawyer in the 2018 Reader’s Choice Awards was Attorney Sochacki’s second notable award last year. The Connecticut Law Tribune named him a Distinguished Leader among Connecticut attorneys in March 2018 as part of its annual statewide Professional Excellence Awards.

Attorney Sochacki, who is based in the firm’s Litchfield office, lives in New Hartford with his wife, Julie, and their two sons.
