Cramer & Anderson has received four nominations in the Waterbury Republican-American newspaper’s 2021 Reader’s Choice Awards.
The firm is nominated for Best Law Firm, Partner Neal D. White, Jr. is nominated for Best Lawyer and Best Estate Planning Lawyer, and Partner Chris Sochacki is nominated for Best Personal Injury Lawyer.
Attorney White has won the Best Estate Planning Lawyer award, and Attorney Sochacki the Best Personal Injury Lawyer award, for three consecutive years. Both are based in the firm’s Litchfield office.

Partner Neal White
Attorney White’s practice includes Estate Planning, Probate & Trust Administration, Elder Law, Residential & Commercial Real Estate, Business Law and Tax Law.
Estate Planning and Elder Law are important areas of focus for Attorney White, who guides clients through issues that can be intricate and emotionally challenging as they plan for the future based on their individual needs and goals.
In drafting estate planning documents including wills, living wills, durable Power of Attorney documents, and health care directives, Attorney White addresses issues of taxation, preservation of assets, and asset management in a process that includes identifying when trusts are necessary, and what type of trust is appropriate.

Partner Chris Sochacki
Attorney Sochacki’s Civil Litigation and Personal Injury practice focuses on helping people who have been wronged or injured, including cases involving product liability, construction defects, medical malpractice, professional malpractice, and Workers’ Compensation claims.
His experience includes 17 years of practicing as an insurance defense litigator, giving him strategic insight and experience concerning how insurance companies and their defense counsel handle the litigation of claims.
Attorney Sochacki also has extensive experience with employers’ liability and discrimination, and real estate errors and omissions, as well as fire and explosion litigation, along with emergency management and emergency response consultation and litigation.
Attorney Sochacki’s volunteer service as a first responder—as a member of New Hartford Volunteer Ambulance and New Hartford’s Nepaug/Bakerville Volunteer Fire Department—also provides him with insights and experience that benefit clients. A licensed Paramedic and certified firefighter, he has a deeper understanding than most attorneys of medical conditions and emergency response.
