Attorney Weinshank Named Vice Chair of Hospitals’ Foundation Boards

Cramer & Anderson Partner Josh Weinshank, Nuvance Hospitals foundation board vice chairCramer & Anderson Senior Partner Josh Weinshank has been named Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Danbury Hospital and New Milford Hospital Foundation, as well as the Norwalk Hospital Foundation.

Attorney Weinshank’s practice focuses on Trust and Estate Planning, Trust and Probate Administration, Asset Protection, and Elder Law. He is the firm’s Fairfield County Trust and Estate Planning and Administration Group Leader, and Resident Senior Partner in the Ridgefield office.

Attorney Weinshank was named to the Associate Board of the Danbury Hospital & New Milford Hospital Foundation in 2017. In his new, larger role, he will continue to partner with the Foundation to advance charitable giving in support of the hospitals’ mission, and that of Nuvance Health.

“We’re similar to ambassadors for the hospitals in terms of raising awareness for new technologies, new programs or new departments,” Attorney Weinshank said in 2017. “We’re educated by the hospitals’ leaders on new trends and technology so we can help educate the community.”

Additionally, he has served on the health system’s Patient Advisory Council.

This past spring, Attorney Weinshank was named a Union Savings Bank corporator, and he is a member of the Finance Committee of the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association (RVNA).

Also in Ridgefield, where he lives with his wife, Steffani, and their two daughters, Attorney Weinshank has served on the Board of the Ridgefield Playhouse, as well as its Finance Committee.

Attorney Weinshank won a prestigious 40 Under 40 award from the Fairfield County Business Journal in May 2019, and was named a Super Lawyers Rising Star in both 2018 and 2019. In 2017, he was named a New Leader in the Law as part of the Connecticut Law Tribune’s annual statewide Professional Excellence Awards.
