Attorney Weinshank to Lead Nuvance Health Charitable Giving Talk

Cramer & Anderson Senior Partner Josh Weinshank is giving a presentation on the power and benefits of charitable giving May 17 in an event at Norwalk Hospital being presented by the hospital’s Legacy Society.

Attorney Weinshank, who serves as chairman of the Legacy Society, will be joined by financial advisor Candice Pope, APMA, of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, who was named to the Forbes 2023 Best in State Women Wealth Advisors list.

“Panelists will cut through the noise, simplify the narrative, and empower you to be in control of decisions that may help keep your plans for family and your favorite causes on track,” says the invitation for the educational discussion that celebrates Leave a Legacy Month.

The Legacy Society recognizes donors who include Norwalk, Danbury, and New Milford hospitals in their estate planning through wills, trusts, annuities, or other charitable giving vehicles. The hospitals are part of Nuvance Health.

Anyone who is interested is welcome to attend the Norwalk Hospital event and should RSVP by emailing foundation@nuvancehealth.org, or Laura Eldridge, Senior Director, Development & Planned Giving for the Foundations of Nuvance Health, at Laura.Eldridge@nuvancehealth.org.

Topics Attorney Weinshank will address in his presentation include:

  • Charitable tax strategies
  • Contributing appreciated securities
  • Legacy gifts
  • Charitable remainder trusts
